Worlds Largest Mine Closure Project
Brandenburg is in the final stages of its decommissioning project for BHP Copper, Inc. This project has been identified as the world’s largest mine closure of its kind. The mine is located in San Manuel, AZ and the operating facility encompasses 650 acres. Brandenburg started the project in August 2004 and will complete the project this summer. (5/1/2006)
Brandenburg Participant in OSHA Challenge-VPP Program
Brandenburg is the first demolition contractor to participate in the OSHA Challenge-VPP Program. This is another step to ensure that Brandenburg’s safety and health program remains at the top of its industry. Brandenburg’s safety program boasts a 0.60 EMR. (3/1/2006)

Engineering New Record (ENR) annually publishes an issue dedicated to the top specialty contractors. Brandenburg tops the list of demolition contractors with annual revenues in excess of $150 million for both 2004 and 2005.
