  • Responsible for repairs and required preventative maintenance of Class tractors
  • Perform safety inspections on tractors making sure that documentation required by the FMCSA, DOT, Federal, State and local regulations are met
  • Ability to read and write description of mechanical problems and repairs
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of mechanics
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematic diagrams
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Welding experience a plus

  • Read and interpret drawings, contract terms & scopes of work

  • Maintain accurate records. Complete Bills of Lading waste manifests and truck tickets.
